Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what we collect when you submit a brand to Sol Rise Partners, who can see it, where it is stored, and how you can access or correct it.

01

About this policy

Sol Rise Partners, a trading name of Wilson Inc ("Sol Rise Partners", "we", "us", "our"), is committed to protecting the privacy of the founders and businesses who interact with us. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

By using this website or submitting a brand for consideration, you agree to the handling of your information as described below.

02

Information collected through the submission form

When you submit a brand for consideration we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and role or position.
  • Brand name, website, category, year founded and headquarters location.
  • Current annual revenue range, current markets and primary sales channels.
  • Growth strategy, international ambitions and points of difference.
  • A financial summary and any other narrative you include.

We also collect the date of your submission and the page it was sent from, so we can manage our review process accurately.

You are not required to provide every field. Where information is optional, choosing not to provide it will not prevent your submission from being reviewed.

03

Uploaded documents

We do not ask for detailed or highly sensitive documentation at the point of first contact. If we identify potential alignment, we may request supporting materials such as a pitch deck, financial summary or growth plan through a secure channel.

Any documents you share are stored securely, accessed only by the Sol Rise Partners investment team, and used solely to evaluate a potential partnership. We retain them only for as long as they are needed for that purpose, or as required by law, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

Please do not send material you are not authorised to disclose, or that is subject to a confidentiality obligation owed to a third party.

04

How submissions are reviewed

Submissions are reviewed personally by the Sol Rise Partners investment team to assess whether a brand aligns with our investment focus. Review involves reading the information you provide and, where relevant, considering publicly available information about your brand and category.

We do not use your submission to make automated decisions, and we do not use it for marketing purposes. We read every submission and respond to those we wish to take further.

05

Confidentiality and internal access

All submissions are treated in strict confidence and reviewed only by our investment team. We do not share, distribute, or use your materials for any purpose other than evaluating a potential partnership.

Access is limited to those personnel and professional advisers who need it to carry out that assessment, and each is bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not sell, trade or rent personal information.

06

Data storage and security

Information is held in access-controlled systems operated by us or by reputable service providers on our behalf. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as it is required for the purpose it was collected, and for any period required by law. Information relating to brands we do not proceed with is deleted or de-identified once it is no longer needed.

07

Third-party service providers

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate this website and manage submissions. These may include:

  • Website and application hosting providers.
  • Form processing, email delivery and secure file storage providers.
  • Analytics providers, used to understand aggregate website usage.
  • Professional advisers, including legal, financial and accounting advisers.

Providers are permitted to handle information only as needed to deliver their service to us, and are required to protect it. We do not authorise them to use your information for their own purposes.

08

Cross-border storage

Some of our service providers store or process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where information is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

By submitting information to us, you consent to it being stored and processed in those locations. If you would prefer your information not be stored offshore, please contact us before submitting.

09

Cookies and analytics

This website uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Analytics data is used at an aggregate level and is not used to identify individual visitors or to build marketing profiles. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function as intended if essential cookies are disabled.

We do not run advertising or retargeting on this website.

10

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or out of date, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and there are limited circumstances in which we may decline access, in which case we will explain why.

If you believe we have mishandled your information, please raise it with us first so we can address it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

11

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.
